The first two columns give the meteor shower’s activity period and date of the maximum. The third column indicates the approximate speed of the meteors in miles per second, and the fourth column gives the zenithal hourly rate (ZHR). This is the average number of meteors per hour seen by an observer looking straight up with a clear and dark night sky.
